MxFace is a cloud-based face recognition API built for fast, accurate biometric integration across any application or device. It covers the full identity verification workflow - face detection, 1:1 comparison, 1:N database search, attribute detection, liveness checking, and 68-point landmark analysis.
Every feature is available via clean REST API calls with JSON request and response bodies. There are no proprietary SDKs required. Teams using Python, Java, Node.js, PHP, .NET, or any other HTTP-capable environment can get a working integration in under 30 minutes.
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. The API does not retain facial data beyond the transaction. GDPR-ready architecture with data residency options.
Median response time under 100ms at standard load via HTTPS REST calls. Consistent throughput on detection, comparison, and search across JPEG and PNG inputs up to 5MB.

Locates all faces in an image and returns bounding box coordinates for each. Handles multiple faces in a single image, with per-face confidence scores. Minimum face size: 50x50 pixels.
Compares two face images and returns a similarity confidence score between 0 and 1. Set your own match threshold - typically 0.75+ for KYC use cases, 0.60+ for access control.
Searches a pre-registered face database to find the closest match. Returns top-N results with confidence scores. Suited for watchlist management, access control, and attendance systems.
Verifies that the face in frame belongs to a live person and not a photo, screen, or 3D mask. Critical for KYC onboarding, preventing spoofing attacks, and meeting biometric compliance requirements.
