Mantra Softech delivers fingerprint, iris, and face recognition systems trusted by enterprises, government agencies, defence establishments, and port operators across India and 50+ countries. One platform. Every identity touchpoint.
Whether you run a 500-person manufacturing plant, manage a government pension network, operate a refinery with rotating contract crews, or secure a naval facility with strict access protocols - the requirement is the same: you need to know, with certainty, who is where and when.
Mantra Softech manufactures the biometric hardware and builds the software integration layer that makes this possible. Our devices are designed and made in India, certified by UIDAI, tested by STQC, and deployed in some of the country's most demanding physical environments - from high-altitude hydro plants to desert solar farms to busy port gates.
We are not a reseller or a systems integrator. We own the IP in our hardware and firmware, which means we control quality, lead times, and the long-term roadmap for every device you deploy. When you choose Mantra, you are working directly with the manufacturer.

When you are deploying biometric infrastructure at enterprise scale, the vendor you choose defines the reliability and longevity of the investment. Here is what sets Mantra apart.
Every Mantra device is designed and manufactured in India with UIDAI L0/L1, STQC, and BIS certification built in - not obtained post-hoc. Your procurement is compliant from day one, without certificate chasing.
REST API, SDK for Android/Windows/Linux, and pre-built connectors for SAP, Oracle, Keka, GreytHR, and leading HIS/ERP platforms. Your existing software is not replaced - it is made smarter.
Authorised service centres and field engineers across all major states. AMC plans include preventive maintenance visits, remote monitoring, and 4-hour on-site SLA for critical enterprise deployments.
IP65-rated terminals, -40°C to +70°C operating range, wide-voltage power tolerance, and anti-corrosion housing. Built for Indian field conditions - not a climate-controlled data centre.
Biometric templates are AES-256 encrypted at the device level. Data is stored on-premise or on MEITY-compliant cloud infrastructure. Mantra does not retain customer biometric data on any third-party system.
The same Mantra platform that manages a single office gate scales - without re-architecture - to a statewide government welfare network or a multinational enterprise spanning dozens of countries.
Mantra is empanelled on Government e-Marketplace (GeM) for direct government procurement. Full documentation - STQC certificates, UIDAI letters, BIS marks, and past performance evidence - is available for tender submissions.
Mantra designs and manufactures its biometric hardware entirely in India at its own production facilities - ensuring end-to-end quality control, faster lead times, and full ownership of the supply chain from component sourcing to finished device.
Mantra's in-house research and development centre is recognised by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Government of India - validating the depth of its R&D investment in next-generation biometric algorithms, sensors, and identity platforms.
Mantra's hardware and software are deployed across the five sectors where verified identity has the highest operational and compliance value.
Mantra's engagement process is designed to reduce the risk and effort on your side - so you get a working biometric system, not a project that runs for years.
A Mantra solutions specialist assesses your environment, existing systems, user population, and compliance requirements - at no charge, before any commitment.
We design your biometric architecture - device selection, zone layout, integration approach, and network topology - and present a fixed-scope proposal with clear deliverables and timelines.
Mantra's certified installation teams deploy hardware, configure software, integrate with your ERP or portal, and run parallel testing to confirm accuracy before go-live.
Full staff training, administrator handover documentation, and a tailored Annual Maintenance Contract covering preventive maintenance, remote monitoring, and SLA-backed on-site response.
"The technology, solutions, efforts, and project management they brought to our industrial gate automation project are exceptional. Mantra's biometric terminals handled our contractor volume - over 3,000 personnel during peak shutdown - without a single access failure or data discrepancy."- Head of Security Operations, Adani Ports
"We evaluated three vendors for our hospital biometric rollout. Mantra was the only one that offered UIDAI-certified hardware, offline capability for our rural CHCs, and a pre-built connector for our HIS - with a deployment team that had actually done this before at comparable scale."- IT Director, State Health Department (Gujarat)
Biometric identity infrastructure is sometimes positioned as a security investment - a cost justified by risk reduction. The more complete picture is that biometric systems deliver direct, measurable financial returns that often justify the investment independently of the security benefit.
Buddy punching, ghost workers, and padded attendance records are endemic in organisations with card or PIN-based time attendance. Conservative estimates put payroll leakage from these practices at 2-5% of total payroll expenditure. For an organisation with 1,000 employees at an average salary of ₹25,000 per month, a 3% leakage rate represents ₹90,000 per month - ₹10.8 lakh per year.
A complete biometric attendance deployment typically costs less than this figure in its first year alone, making the investment self-liquidating before any security benefit is counted.
India's regulatory environment imposes real financial penalties for attendance record failures, access control lapses, and contractor management gaps. Under the Factories Act, PESO regulations, CEA standards, and ISO 45001, enterprises without verifiable access control and attendance records face audit findings that carry both monetary penalties and operational shutdown risk.
Biometric systems generate the evidence regulators require as a byproduct of their normal operation - turning compliance from a separate administrative burden into something that is simply always done.
For organisations that manage large employee welfare programs - provident fund, ESIC, canteen subsidies, transportation allowances - ghost beneficiaries represent a systematic drain that is invisible in traditional audits.
Biometric verification at each benefit disbursement point closes this gap immediately and maintains an auditable record that satisfies both internal audit and external statutory inspection requirements.
What enterprise decision-makers ask before committing to a Mantra biometric deployment.
A single-site enterprise deployment - one office campus or one factory - typically goes from contract signing to full go-live in 3 to 6 weeks, including hardware installation, software configuration, ERP integration testing, staff enrollment, and user training. Multi-site enterprise rollouts are structured as phased programs: each site goes live independently, so the organisation begins realising value from Site 1 while Sites 2 and 3 are being configured. We provide a site-by-site deployment schedule as part of the proposal documentation.
Yes. Mantra provides native integration adapters for SAP HR (ESS/MSS), SAP S/4HANA HCM, Oracle HCM Cloud, and Oracle E-Business Suite. The attendance data feed to SAP and Oracle can be configured for real-time sync or scheduled batch transfer depending on your system architecture. For custom ERP environments, Mantra's REST API delivers attendance events in JSON format that any competent SAP or Oracle developer can consume within a standard integration project. An integration feasibility assessment is included at no charge as part of the pre-sales process.
Mantra offers Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) tailored to enterprise deployment scale. Standard AMC includes quarterly preventive maintenance visits, remote monitoring of device health, software update management, and next-business-day on-site response. Premium AMC (recommended for critical facilities) provides 4-hour on-site SLA for device failures and includes a swap unit program so a failed terminal is replaced without waiting for repair. Mantra's pan-India service network covers all major states and union territories through a combination of direct field engineers and authorised service partners.
Biometric data in India is classified as sensitive personal data under the IT Act and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) 2023. Mantra's deployment architecture stores biometric templates exclusively on-premise - on the device itself or on your organisation's server - with AES-256 encryption. Templates are never transmitted to or stored on Mantra's servers or any third-party cloud. This on-premise architecture keeps your organisation fully compliant with DPDPA requirements and eliminates the data processing agreements complexity that cloud-based biometric storage would require. We provide standard employee consent documentation templates as part of the deployment package.
Yes. Mantra devices are deployed in 50+ countries across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America. The central management platform supports multi-timezone, multi-currency, and multi-language configurations. For enterprise customers with regional headquarters in India and facilities abroad, Mantra can supply hardware to overseas locations through our global distribution network and provide remote configuration, monitoring, and software support centrally from India. For countries with specific biometric device certification requirements (e.g., national AFIS compliance in certain African markets), our international sales team can advise on the appropriate device variant for each jurisdiction.
Talk to a Mantra business specialist - no commitment, no sales pressure. Just a clear picture of what the right biometric system looks like for your organisation and what it will cost.
