DigiLocker is India's flagship e-Governance initiative providing citizens a cloud-based digital document wallet linked to their Aadhaar number. DigiLocker is developed by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) under the Digital India initiative to store individuals' documents digitally. To access documents in their DigiLocker account, individuals must authenticate themselves using Aadhaar Biometric (fingerprint or iris scan) or Mobile OTP.
